Found a presentation today given by Jason Zander (General Manager of Visual Studio) and Matt Carter (Product Manager) for Vista Squad today. It was actually recorded a little while ago, but I could not find much exposure to this video on aggregation sites such as DotNetKicks and DotNetShoutOut, so I wanted to make sure you are all in the loop!
- Vista Squad: Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0 (01:01:54, 640×360, 429.48 MB)
Gives great insight on what we can expect to come from the new forthcoming release of these two brilliant products. Also there is an overview of changes to the BCL on the BCL Team Blog for .NET 4.0: http://blogs.msdn.com/bclteam/archive/2008/11/04/what-s-new-in-the-bcl-in-net-4-0-justin-van-patten.aspx
Also while we’re on the topic of Visual Studio Jason Zander also blogged about “A New Look For Visual Studio 2010” which has screenshots of the shiny new interface, well worth the look.
If you have any other links, please feel free to share.

Hi Graeme. Thanks for the publicity. It was an awesome presentation, just a few technical glitches which caused Jason to code from a projector screen.
Ah that’s ok, no problem! If I lived in the UK I would have loved to attend.
