About to Launch an Online Start-Up?

Well you need a business plan. Today I would like to announce my fiancée’s blog entitled “Katrina’s Arena” where she has posted a robust business plan template to help get you started on your way to achieving success with your next start-up business (online or offline!).

A business plan does not only provide a great way to summarise your business idea and/or objectives but will help you answer that infamous question:

“Is this idea a financially viable opportunity?”

The question is too often overlooked and projects are started without too much forethought (I know first hand, I have been very guilty of this) many of which probably weren’t worth it in the long run. Well a business plan can help eliminate that problem, by uncovering vital problems up front, display clearly the financial viability and revenue projections to help the decision making process.

The document does not need to be huge, and is typically created pre-business start containing a set of business goals and reasons why you believe these goals are attainable with a set of other sections backing up your beliefs; It is also a vital document if you wish to pitch your business to potential investors.

So often knowing where to start can be the most daunting part, but using the professional template she has developed over on the article “Killer Business Plan In Just 9 Easy Steps“, you’re half way there, each section is clearly outlined and contains sample text and guidelines on what to write to create the ideal business plan, it does not need to be huge, but can save you a world of time and money potentially later. We are in the middle of starting a few online businesses so you can be assured this template is tried and tested :)

So check it out, and don’t hesitate to drop her a line with any suggestions or feedback as she will really appreciate it.

Her blog whilst not targeting IT directly, will still contain many tech-related business, entrepreneurial, online-startup, motivational and self-help tips well worth keeping an eye on.

Thanks guys.
